CASA Program

The Montessori Casa Program nurtures confidence, independence, problem-solving, creativity, and real-life skills, setting a strong foundation for future growth.

Our Casa Program

is thoughtfully designed for children aged 2.5 years to 6 years, providing a rich and nurturing environment that supports their growth and development during these formative years. In the Casa Program, children are encouraged to choose their activities, follow their interests, and progress at their own pace while cultivating independence, strengthening their concentration, and experiencing remarkable growth as they develop their intelligence and higher-order thinking skills.

During the Casa Program children are introduced to advanced Montessori materials that build on their understanding of Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Language, and Culture.  The carefully designed Casa classrooms and their educational materials align with these developmental interests, offering rich learning experiences that support holistic growth while preparing children for school and beyond.

Montessori-Equipped Classrooms

Our Casa classrooms are fully equipped with authentic Montessori materials that are carefully curated to inspire exploration and creativity. The thoughtfully designed spaces promote independence, allowing children to choose their activities and engage at their own pace. Each classroom features areas for practical life skills, sensorial exploration, language, mathematics, and cultural studies, all set in a warm and inviting atmosphere that encourages learning.

Social and Emotional Development

The Casa Program places a strong emphasis on social and emotional growth. Through collaborative activities and group projects, children learn essential skills such as cooperation, conflict resolution, and empathy. Our educators model positive interactions and provide guidance as children navigate their relationships, helping them develop a strong sense of self and community.

Individualized Learning

Recognizing that each child is unique, our experienced educators observe and respond to individual interests and developmental stages. We create personalized learning experiences that cater to each child’s needs, allowing them to thrive in a supportive and motivating environment.

Curriculum Highlights

The Casa Program incorporates a comprehensive curriculum and the use of more complex Montessori materials to lay a solid foundation for future academic success. Key components of our curriculum include:

  • Practical Life Skills: Practical life activities are designed to promote the care of self, others, and the environment. These activities teach valuable daily life skills while also nurturing key areas of development, including independence, social skills, grace and courtesy, concentration, and coordination. By engaging in these purposeful tasks, children gain a deeper understanding of their role in the world around them and develop the confidence to take care of their needs and surroundings.  Examples of materials and activities include: Buttoning Frames, Sweeping and dusting, Polishing mirrors, making simple snacks, and more.
  • Sensorial: Sensorial activities are designed to help children refine and develop their senses of sight, touch, taste, smell, and sound. These activities encourage children to explore and engage with the world around them, enhancing their ability to classify, sort, and distinguish between objects based on their sensory impressions. As children work with these materials, they gain a deeper understanding of the environment and improve their cognitive abilities. These sensory skills form a crucial foundation for future learning, particularly in language development and mathematics.  Examples of materials and activities include: Pink Tower, Brown Stairs, Red Rods, Color tablets, Sound boxes, and more.
  • Mathematics: Montessori mathematics materials are carefully designed to help children grasp abstract mathematical concepts through tactile, hands-on learning. These materials bridge the gap between concrete experiences and abstract thinking, allowing children to explore mathematical ideas in a meaningful way. As they engage with these tools, students develop an understanding of numerals, learn to count and sequence numbers, explore patterns and number systems, laying the groundwork for more advanced mathematical thinking. Through these hands-on activities, children build a strong foundation in mathematics that fosters both practical skills and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. Examples of materials and activities include: Sandpaper Numbers, Number Rods, Spindle Box, Gold beads, Beads Chains, Hundred board, and more.
  • Language: Montessori language materials support toddlers in developing essential language skills, including letter recognition, phonics, understanding simple word structures, and distinguishing between vowels and consonants. These materials also lay the foundation for early writing and reading, helping children build the necessary skills for literacy development. Through engaging, hands-on activities, children are encouraged to explore and connect with language in a meaningful and interactive way. Examples of materials and activities include: Sandpaper Letters, Movable alphabet, Sentence Strips, Three-Part Cards, Metal Insets, and more.
  • Culture: The Montessori Culture Curriculum introduces children to a wide range of subjects, including the arts, geography, science, the environment, national culture, music, and history. Through engaging cultural activities, children explore their local community and the wider world, discovering both similarities and differences. This process helps them develop an understanding, appreciation, and respect for diversity, as well as a deeper connection to all living things. The curriculum fosters a sense of global awareness, promoting curiosity and respect for the cultures, environments, and histories that shape our world. Examples of materials and activities include: World map puzzles, Geometric Solids, Map of the Solar system, Land and Water Globe, Flag Puzzles, Botany Cabinet, and more.

Join us in exploring the transformative journey of our Casa Program, where your child’s curiosity will be nurtured, their independence celebrated, and their love of learning ignited. Together, we can create a strong foundation for their future success!
